Elegant Light Control at Scale: Motorized Roller Shades for the Conference Center

Project Overview:
DesignTeam was honored to complete a large-scale motorized roller shade project in the Conference Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—one of the most iconic and expansive gathering spaces in Salt Lake City. The Conference Center’s architecture and purpose called for a precise, refined solution to manage daylight, preserve sightlines, and integrate seamlessly with existing electrical and AV systems.

  • Custom Engineering: Several shades were installed in oversized or uniquely shaped openings, requiring precision site measurements and customized bracket solutions.
  • Minimal Visual Impact: The selected roller shade system maintainins the clean, intentional lines of the architecture.
